The Lady Comet Bowlers of Hanover-Horton took on the Jayhawks of Vandercook Lake on Friday. The team consisting of Abby Barba, Liz Curry, Sophie Donders, Brooke Hadley and Arianna Uhl started off the match with a set of baker games that was relatively tight to Vandercook's score. The Comets were able to fend them off, though, giving themselves a 10-point lead. The team was lead in the regular games by Sophie Donders 148 and 152 (300 series) Liz Curry 115 and 111 (a personal best series of 226) and Abby Barba 114 (221 series). In the end, the Comets were able to secure the win with a score of 25-5. Their record is now 5-5. They were slated to take on Addison at Hudson Lanes tonight (1/22), but the match has been postponed due to weather. The next match is Tuesday at Suburban Lanes where the Lady Comets will take on the East Jackson Trojans.
