Hanover's Middle School Boys Track Team won its home meet against Vandercook lake , 115 to 8. Leading off the running events the team of Beach, Herendeen, Jurasek, and Marshall won the 4 X 800m relay. Hocter and Pond went 1 and 2 in the 55m Hurdles. Fedorow and Ackley were 1 and 2 in the 100m Dash. The team of Pond, Lowry, Gorton, and Dubois won the 4 X 200m Relay. Harris, Hassenzahl, and Marshall swept the 1600m and the team of Gorton, Ansel, Poegel, and Federow won the 4 X 100m Relay. Lowry, Cottrell and Swihart swept the 400m. Pond Ackley and Dubois swept the 70m dash. Harris, Hassenzahl and Jurasek swept the 800m. Hocter, Federow, and Dubois swept the 200m Hurdles. Johnson and Cook took 2nd and 3rd in the 200m and the team of Johnson, Cook, Ackley, and Cotrell won the 4 X 400m Relay.

For Field events Glover, Mercer, and Henry swept the shot put, Harris won High Jump, Swihart and Gorton went 1 and 2 in Pole Vault, and Hocter and Lowry went 1 and 2 in Long Jump.

As an added note Lowry and Hocter broke the old long jump record of 17' 8" with Lowry jumping 17' 11.25" and Hocter jumping 18' 1".

Hocter went on to break his 55m Hurdle record of 8.15 with an 8.00 and break his brother's 200m Hurdle record of 27.72 with a 27.09.
