The Cross Country Teams competed well at the Battle Creek Harper Creek Invitational on Saturday as both teams brought home first place trophies.
The Girls had Olivia Perrine winning the 11-12 race with Sophie Reynolds finishing third, Julianna Debozy seventh and Lily Mason tenth. Also earning a medal for her thirteenth place finish was Ava Schnell. In the 9-10 race, Brynlee Swinart finished third to secure the win over Richland Gull Lake by 2 points. Kennedy Bugbee also earned a medal with her twelfth place finish.
In the Boys races, Landen Boulis finished second, Evan Shepherd - third, Owen Brown - fourth and Landon Jordon fifteenth to earn medals in the 11-12 race and Zach Hassenzahl - second, Cooper - Flick - sixth, Grant Bulgrien - ninth and Blake Griffis tenth to earn medals for the boys who were the class of the nine team field, finishing with 17 points.
